2 Dairy-Free​ Ice Cream Recipes​: 4 ingredients

4 icecream titleI recently discovered 4 ingredient ice cream and it is so cool! Ice cream is a great treat to serve guests, especially in the summer when you are craving something sweet. This ice cream is great because it is super healthy and it doesn’t involve any milk or extra sugar. The only tip I can give is to use slightly sweetened cashew or almond milk to ensure the ice cream will be sweet!

1.Chocolate Chip Ice Cream


Makes — 3 servings    Time-5 minutes (plus an hour to freeze)


Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1cup of chocolate chips (more for toppings)
  • 1/2 cup cashew or almond milk
  • 1cup cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. Cut up the frozen bananas and throw all your ingredients in the blender
  2. Blend all your ingredients until they are very smooth
  3. Pour into a glass container and place in the freezer (no more than 2 hours)
  4. Serve when frozen

This is the perfect chocolate chip ice cream and it only has four ingredients!


 

2.Almond/Peanut Butter and Chocolate


Makes — 3 servings    Time-5 minutes (plus an hour to freeze)


Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1cup almond or peanut butter
  • 1cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup almond/cashew milk

Instructions:

  1. Cut up the frozen bananas and throw all your ingredients in the blender
  2. Blend all your ingredients until they are very smooth
  3. Pour into a glass container and place in the freezer (no more than 2hours)
  4. Serve when frozen, top with nuts

This is the perfect nutty ice cream and it goes perfectly with the chocolate ice cream!
