There is nothing I like more than a delicious snack that only contains three healthy ingredients. With the cold season on its way, there is nothing I want more than some warm chocolate chip cookies. The great thing about these three ingredient cookies is that they are super healthy and very customizable. Ingredients can be added or removed, you can also change up the texture by quickly putting the ingredients in a blender. These make delicious breakfasts, after school snacks and even a tasty but healthy dessert. Plus they only use three ingredients that you are sure to have at home!

Makes – 12 to 14 cookies Time- 20 minutes
- 1 cup Oats
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
**You could also add raisins, cinnamon, honey, walnuts, peanut butter or anything else to give these cookies your desired flavor. Just make sure the extra ingredients to not make up too much of the cookie. You may need more banana as you use more ingredients.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Mash the bananas until mostly smooth.
- Mix in the oats, you may want to blend the mixture slightly for a softer chewier texture ( I chose not to)
- Add in any additional ingredients such as chocolate chips.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, and enjoy (these taste good warm as well as cold)
**note that the cookies may brown after a couple of days, because of the banana.
For the cookies in this picture, I added a few more oats for some crunch and this gave the cookies an oatmeal like flavor. If you want something softer, you can throw the ingredients in a blender for no more than about 5 seconds, just to chop up the oats a bit more. Something to remember is your batter should never be too runny and if it is, add some more oats. And you also don’t want the cookies to be falling apart. As you add more dry ingredients you may want to use more banana.
