Through some experimentation with ingredients, I have come up with these super cool chocolate cookies. They are gluten free and milk free, using only simple ingredients. I also chose to use farm raised eggs for this recipe. If you can, farm raised and free range eggs are ideal for ethical reasons. You can also look for fair trade cocoa. This recipe has no added sugar but the cookies are still sweet and it is extremely easy to make. These are my new all time favorite cookies! Continue reading
Here is a SWEET twist to the classic peanut butter and banana toast. I decided to pack all my favorite things onto one piece of toast and it really was delicious. I am a huge fan of any toast: avocado toast, Nutella toast, buttery toast, and of course…Peanut butter and banana toast. I decided to add some raspberries, cinnamon and chocolate chips to my toast for a gourmet dessert. This is a great treat if you are craving something sweet but trying to be healthy at the same time. If you are not the best baker, and you want a sweet treat to share with friends, this is a super quick and easy option. It takes no time to make and it will definitely leave you satisfied. You can eat this for breakfast, as a snack, and of course for dessert!
These have got to be the perfect snack! They will satisfy your sweet tooth, but they will fill you up at the same time. No Bake Granola Bites are packed with protein and healthy ingredients. I was surprised at how well they turned out. It was almost too good to be true. Just one granola bite was filling enough for a quick breakfast-to-go! The great thing is you simply have to mix the ingredients then shape them into balls. Then stick them in the fridge…and Voila! It is that simple. I made these late at night so they were ready to share in the morning! I was pleased to discover that both adults and kids can enjoy this snack that is healthy and easy to make. Continue reading
This is the ultimate chocolatey treat that you will never feel guilty about eating. If you are craving something sweet these brownies will be perfect, plus they are quick and easy to make. I made these for my whole family and everyone loved them. My brother, who refuses to eat avocado, did not even hesitate before he grabbed his second brownie. The brownies are so chocolatey and sweet, without any added sugar, flour, or milk. The end result was chocolatey, perfectly moist and super delicious! Continue reading
These cookies are great for the holidays, and they are made with almond flour. Almond flour is a good healthy alternative for flour and it tastes just as good. Because of the dark chocolate and almond flour used in this recipe these cookies are vegan and gluten-free! Even without the usual flour, these cookies are extremely soft and they come out to the perfect texture. These cookies are great for the cold season because they taste amazing with a warm drink.
I have been researching, for a couple days looking for healthy holiday treats that aren’t packed with unhealthy ingredients. These chocolate covered snowballs, are not packed with sugar like most other holiday sweets and they don’t require any baking!!!
