I decided to try a vegan gluten-free quinoa pasta. It is super easy to make; boil it for four minutes and it is done! I really did like this pasta it had a similar texture to normal pasta and it paired nicely with marinara or pesto sauce. I decided to experiment with recipes and I came up with this green bean and sundried tomato combo that is super easy to make. I am happy to say it turned out tasting really good. Who doesn’t love a flavourful sweet smoothie in the morning that is packed with nutrients? Not only is this smoothie packed healthy nutrients like protein, potassium, and fiber but it is packed with antioxidants! Blueberries are a great source of antioxidants so I love to saturate my smoothie with them. However, the real source of antioxidants is the goji berries. Antioxidants provide anti-aging benefits and restorative properties plus they are said to decrease the risk of cancer and increase the lifespan. I added a few dried goji berries to my smoothie for a rejuvenating boost plus tons and tons of blueberries. This smoothie is so healthy but truly tasty and sweet at the same time!
These pancakes are inspired by a recipe I saw on TV made by Jamie Oliver. I love this recipe because it is super healthy; containing lots of fruit (one full fruit serving) and you can make the batter in a blender easily. This is the perfect treat for anyone who is looking for a completely healthy dessert. I know it sounds impossible but this recipe uses no sugar, no egg, no butter, no milk and no flour. It is astonishing that these cookies actually turned out the way I had planned and they taste just like ginger cookies. The thing with these cookies is that they have to be made thin or they may turn out too soft and crumbly. Personally, I prefer the cookies to be slightly crispy, and chewy which is exactly how these cookies turned out.
